Custom Framing
At PNE Art & Framing, we specialize in creating custom frames that complement and protect your valuable artworks. Our Master Framer carefully selects frames, moulding, matting and glazing options to best showcase your piece while preserving its integrity. We take your preferences and the artwork’s unique characteristics into account to ensure a stunning personalised presentation.

Canvas Stretching Services
At PNE Art & Framing we offer professional custom blank canvas stretching as well as the stretching of canvas artworks, including First Nations artworks, for display. Our skilled Master Framer expertly stretches your canvases by hand over sturdy wooden frames, ensuring your canvas remains taut and to the correct tension for the piece, thereby maintaining the integrity of the artwork.
As our Framer firmly believes in best practice techniques, to preserve your canvas from degradation that simply stretching a canvas over a timber stretcher can cause, he also treats the timber against tannin leaching and uses stainless steel hardware.
Should you have a décor canvas piece which you would like stretched, we protect the artwork with a UV film. We also have float frames to perfectly fit your stretched canvas artworks.
Conservation Framing
Preservation and conservation are paramount at PNE Art & Framing and we are proud to say that we are a trusted framer for the Rockhampton Museum of Art (RMOA). Our conservation framing service is designed to safeguard your artworks from environmental damage. Our Master Framer is trained to construct the perfect environment to preserve your items.
We use acid-free and museum quality materials including 99% UV Block in Conservation Clear, Conservation Reflection Control & Conservation Museum grades of glass. 99% UV Block is the only recognised true conservation grade of glass.
Should acrylic be more your choice due to weight or size being an issue, our acrylic range is 99% Cut Out in Conservation Clear & Optima Museum Acrylic which is scratch resistant and anti-static. These protective glazing options assist in preventing deterioration and discolouration, allowing you to enjoy your cherished pieces for years to come.
